walked to the El Rey last night for Z-trip and MSTRKRFT. woo woo!

we got there pretty late towards the last half of z-trips set and pretty much walked down the isle and stood in the front row. not too bad considering there were hundreds of people there before us. 

the music was fantastic 

and the crowd was pretty wild. 

natalie heard that mstrkrft was spinning again at LAX so we cabbed it to hollywood to witness. i figured we wouldn't get in, and it was already like 1 in the morning, but we were all pretty sloshed so it seemed like a good idea.

it was.

another good crowd that we shoved our way to the front of. steve aoki was there playing around and he spun with them a little. 

completely incredible.

LAX seemed fun, not completely overrun by douchebags with bad cologne, anyway. might go there again but not to drink seeing as i am currently jobless.

left my phone in the taxi on the way home and had to pay an extra 30 bucks so the cabbie could deliver it to me that night at 4 in the morning, but it worked out and now i've got my phone. 30 bucks is cheaper than a new one anyway.

the night was amazing, my friends are amazing, everything worked out. 

i am in love with the city again, for now anyway.
